ohgay :)
okay i know someone's gonna nag me for using her line again :P
i shall stop using ohgay from now on hahahha xD
*big sigh*
hols gonna end soon. about 1 more week i have to go back to that hectic uni life.
gosh. 1 month really not enough laa.
the part time job already occupued more than half of it,
then k-drama session whenever i'm free...
LOL this is the first time in my life whereby my progress is like a snail crawling.
spent one whole week on Arang and the magistrate episode 1... hahahah
till today only up to episode 13... slow dao -_-
and i just realised that arang is still airing, means that still needa wait aaah...
luckily i found one website which i can watch online for free! hahahah super duper happy!
but...
i have no time left.
no life man T_T
still, kinda happy cos i got to catch up with my lovely fwensss whenever there's hols.
(just left tong tong ying haven't meet up bah liao)
first there's this birthday party of one of my uni friend in batu caves,
then two sing-k-crazy sessions with my uni pals,
after-1-year-reunion with my poos and mama,
and last was my first ever experience when we went skating! xD
speaking about skating,
never in my life i thought that i would actually go.and.skate.
LOL. at this age. erhemmm.
i mean, usually kids skate more right... adults better don't go skate so often. it's a threat to the bones.
hahhahahahahahahhah!
before i went skating, i really imagined myself slipping on the hard ice.
Ouch.
it sure is painful. no need testing man.
anyways, as i said it's my first time, haha,
went with 4 of my uni pals to (where else but) sunway lagoon yesterday.
so there's 5 of us, with only 2 person that knows how to skate.
and what's more, they are still new to skating, as in... this is their 2nd time. Yeap :x
haha, wondering how we got the guts to go skate when we dunno how eh :P
i also dunno, but just with the thought of "Oh, i'm gonna skate!"
makes me feel super excited.
gloves, socks and jacket... All ready.
until... i put on the skating shoes and... walked. and shook. and walked. and shook.
LOL. the base of the shoe (metal part) is like 1cm only.and i'm kinda weighty :x
one of my friend even say she can foresee me fall down while skating,
as i cant even walk properly on flat floors.
and those poos, they even told me to "be careful and dont end up become tau fu fah"
Gosh.
im so gonna prove them wrong :P
yeah, so after giving in all my effort to drag myself to the skating entrance,
my friend shoved us in. and we were like ducklings learning how to walk, or birdies learning how to fly...
all of us were like leaning ourselves to the wall.
and believe me, you will feel extremely unstable. it's like you are standing on a piece of wood that is going to break anytime. we kept on clinging to the sides. grabbing the walls desperately.
and my friend suggests that we all "walk" a few rounds in the skating area first to familiarise ourselves.
so we "walked" one round... and then started the 2nd round... and then....................................
*the diu lian part*
gosh. this is too diu lian liao so i will just briefly tell it :P
the 2nd round, when i just started about 1/3 round, those orange shirt guys skidded in and "chased" everyone out, cos they're gonna clean the ice with the machine thing... AND don't forget im still "walking" and leaning by the wall, not even near the entrance. It's like i can see the entrance but i cannot go thereeeeeeeeeeeeeee. Gosh. totally helpless that time. So i planned to keep on "moving" myself to the entrance......... who knows... in less than a minute the freaking ice atrium is empty. E.M.P.T.Y. and i'm still by the wall. *someone help meee* totally freaked out that time, when i saw everyone was outside the door, including my pals which were obviously shoved out. and they were peeping in to "see" me -________- No face no face no face arrrrrrrrrrrrr. So finally, after assuming and confirming that i cannot even skate myself to the door, one of the orange guys came to grab my hand and *skates* and another guy came and grab my another hand and *skates* across the scary icy floor which i nearly fell on 94768397581264109 times. Well, the seconds when i got dragged pulled, when i recalled, were surprisingly awesome! ;) #indescribablefeelings#likeflying LOL.
*getting back to my senses*
facepalm.
you can imagine how i walked through the crowd at the entrance.
head down, freaked out, and wobbling all the way to our seats.
after i chilled down and regained consciousness, the hahahahahhahas begin. -_-
my friends all started to tease me... etc... but i don't really mind what they say as long as im still alive in one piece, hehe. Yeah, and the cleaning took half an hour, so we chit chatted about our uni life, etc...
later on, i made up my mind that no matter how i cannot cling to the wall again.
it's too stupid.
luckily we met my friend's friends (around 3 of them) who are super pro in skating. they even have their own skating shoes! So ngam ngam hou they came to skate, so my friend ask them to teach us, haha.
they told us what to do and what not to do etc... and strongly advised that we should go into the centre of the ice rink and should not skate near the walls, sure will fall down one. Oh well, better listen to the pros, so me and my friend, both 1st timers, started to skate whilst holding each other's hands. WOOOOO that actually works!!!!! hahhahahahah no need the stupid walls liao! And balancing ourself is actually the main idea, other than wearing the shoes real tight, you have to skate in a way that the blades surface really 90 degree touched the floor, and left, right, left, right, off you go! ;) It was sooooooooooooooooooooooo fun! And we were so lucky to be there when the London Boys came performing live on the stage! One of them really good looking haha, and we very sampat, purposely skate near to the stage to scream with them. LOL! then we also saw some pretty girls around the age of 5 or 6 practising in the middle of the rink. Really man, if you wanna learn skating, better learn it when you're young. Same goes to swimming, cycling etc... Even if you fall, it won't hurt that much. Seriously true to the max.
Anyways, i'm super glad that i can actually skate a small distance by myself, without holding to anyone or anything... for a 1st timer it's enough to make me happy for a few nights liao. What an achievement! Grins. Like what my friend said, we don't need trainers, haha, we just self-learn xD *self-praise for a while~*
Took a few photos to mark my first time experience. Enjoy! :D
