KV6-9/5

Just a diary post to record the lovely days in Langkawi :D

Day1: KL Sentral at 9am.
Flight was 12pm at LCCT. Tbh, i packed my bag past midnight cos i was working and tak ada time to pack haha. So ended up sleeping late around 2am... can still sleep on the bus and plane ma. Okay so off we departed! So syok cos we departed from LCCT but we're gonna arrive in KLIA2 when we come back! Hahhahaha so ngam ngam hou our timing, as 9May is airasia's first day operating at the new airport. Was a little bit sick before the trip, but the thought of having fun and getting a perfect getaway just boost up my energy and excitement :D Went with this bunch of uni pals, 7 girls and 5 guys, and some of them first time taking flight :D

Landed safely in LIA (Langkawi International Airport) - the name is so cute xD Just as we wanna find taxi to go to our hotel, this guy asked us whether wanna rent car or van etc to get around lgkw. He looks so suspicious (LOLLL reallyyy) so we just took his contact and took a taxi-van instead. Checked in Geopark hotel which we gonna stay for 2 nights. Really not bad this hotel. We actually found and purchased this deal on Living Social. Includes bfast, cable car rides, 6d cinema, rabbit feeding and more. LOLLL this trip is really an "unplanned trip" cos we just booked the hotels and did not have any plans like day 1 go where then day 2 go where etc :P So we checked in at the counter and the service was really good. The abang introduced us some travel package in lgkw and showed us activities that we can do there. Later on we all decided to rent the van from the guy at the airport cos we managed to reduce the price to RM300 for 4days, if langgar need to pay 5k (so risky hor... but we got so many people that are pro in driving so it's not a problem :D After the test drive the person just pass us the van). Oh oh, and after that only we realised that the road tax already expire...... guess Langkawi's cops are not so free cos they didn't spot us :P The people there double ensured us that we wont get lost in lgkw, its a small island nia not like kl hahaha. Ate our late lunch there and omg there are zillions of flies there no joke! So scary omg the flies are like hungry for hundred years liao, the whole pack kept on flying around us while we ate. Luckily mine's just a sandwich set so i faster gobble it up.

Later on, we spent the free cable car voucher and ride up to the peak. Wahhh the top of the mountain is super cooling, like genting highlands whereas down there hot like bbq. It was quite a long ride, and the gondola design is really lousy cos there's no air cond and you feel like suffocating in there. (And it's quite slow). Stopped at the middle to take some pics and also the peak to take more pics. The people there really pandai earn money. They kept on taking your pics and edit it on the spot (got green screen and 3d effect somemore) and sell to the tourists. One 6r photo can sell up to RM35 omg. We walked around there for some time and chilled at the peak cos it's so cooling there. Too bad the skybridge was under renovation so we cannot walk there. Seeing the bridge under my own eyes hahahah brought back the memories (lousy one) while i painted my canvas in year 2 LOLLLLLL. Big fail. But anyways, the bridge looked super scary and i think my legs will shake like jelly if i walk on it...... >_<

Asked for pasar malam whereabouts and found out that lgkw has different locations for pasar malam every day :D So we went to Kuah that night, joking on the way that their pasar malam has only 3 stalls LOLL. Ate our dinner there and ta pao also cos the food is so yummy and cheap too! Not a very long pasar malam but we feed ourselves full enough :D Droved to Cenang mall, which was one of the few malls there and we were like weirdos shouting: "Woahhh chatime! Woahhh starbucks!!!" cos those were the first shops we've seen in lgkw hahaha. Went back to hotel after that, and played cards and drank beer till very very lateeeeeee :P The game called "In between" was really fun! We bet some money and my modal was 10cents but end up getting rm6! Yayness hahaha :D

Day2: Woke up kinda late. Sore throat day#1
Hurried to downstairs and ate the free bfast cos we are going on a boat tour!!! Super syok man! Visited a lot of places. First was the fish farm and i get to touch and feed the sting rays. Super cute and feels like jelly! There are so many other fishes as well, got sharks and "pen shui yu" and some crabs with long tail hahahaha :D Next we took the boat to mangrove area, and it was kinda scary cos got snakes de... and we saw lots and lots of monkeys omg. Our tour guide even feed it when one of it came inside our boat. It's a mum and the baby was hugging her like a koala. Awww super cute! Then after they finish eating the mum swam across the sea and went back to their monkey island haha. We went further inside and reached the eagle territory, our tour guide "called" them using the boat machine sound and all of a sudden over 10 to 20 eagles flew out from the trees and ate the chicken skin we threw in the sea. What a scene man. They are really cool although most of them are small eagles, the way they fly in the sky is really makes you go wow over and over again. We went to Gua Buaya that has rocks with the shape of buaya and also people's face... luckily no buaya inside haha. And the last station was bat cave. Saw a lot of creepy bats and omg that place really stinks =_= But we got to see the cave that is filled with weird looking rocks and we have to bend down and walk so many times. In the dark. Luckily nowadays handphone got torchlight haha. #protech We got back into the boat after that and our tour guide drove us to the sea parking area where lots of yachts and boats were "parked" on sea. Then we went to outer sea and he told us that just 30 minutes by boat we can reach Thailand hahaha. True enough, maxis even sent me the sms saying that i can enjoy roaming in Thailand for dunno how many rm. Then our kind tour guide let us drive the boat! OMGGG so fun man! Boats have no brakes so we just need to control the steering wheel. It was cool but in the end our hair all messed up and tasted like salt. Blluuueeek.

Lunch was at some random restaurant also cos we really didn't plan anything hahaha. Went to shop for chocolates after that. Forgot what's the name of the place but there got cinema de. I think it's Sembonia mall if not mistaken. Bought so many chocolates cos they're duty free! Super cheap man, like kit kat and ferrero rocher, all a few ringgit cheaper. They even have strawberry and green tea kit kat! The beer here are also worth buying cos outside one tin may go up to RM10 but here they sell 6 tins for RM20 nia!! I bought one Hoegaarden and it was fantastic :9 The prices didn't differ a lot among different shops but they cut down the price for chocolates that are going to expire.

Went back to hotel and watched the lousy 6d cinema thing. LOLL really lousy they sprayed water on us and even beat our legs with long straws wth... but it's free la so nvm @@ And then we went to feed the rabbits there. There are so many cute rabbits and my friend said one of it looks like Princess! Hahahaha and i took photos with the bunny :D Later on we drove ourselves to one of the beach. Guess it was the wrong beach cos it's so deserted...you die there also no people will know omg. Even the gps also have problem detecting it and we got lost for a while and wandered into a super high class resort area with golf grounds haha. Saw some monkeys making love at the roadside also omg. In the end we just had a small walk at the beach, throw some stones (make it bounce on the sea surface! :P) and played little water nia cos there are more monkeys there and they seemed like wanna steal our bags LOLLL. Then the laoren suddenly realised that he lost his hp on the beach after we already leave the beach like 5km... haiyo so we went back and found it (consider lucky la). Went to pump oil after that and settled our dinner at some random roadside seafood restaurant. And just as we were about to order food, that laoren realised again that his hp was lost (he left it at the petrol station =_=) Pity our "driver" that has to bring him back to the petrol station that was kinda far away... and it was raining heavily... and his hp was actually an old nokia... -_- In the end he cannot find it and we all just teased him and said it's time to change a new phone cos his old hp also tried to leave him twice hahah. The food was nice and i cannot control myself not to eat them although they are heaty :( Nehhh i didn't regret eating the bbq pepper crabs, butter fried prawns and ikan bakar hahaha. Thats why my voice turned so sexy that night. Kena laughed at bcos my voice really cmi lolll. I kept throwing hot water into my throat.

Back to hotel again and wheeeeeee cards time! We played the mafia game taught by dino. It was actually very fun and we played so many rounds hahaha. I became the mafia twice and it was so funny cos everyone need to cheat people that they are good even if they got the bad character. Ate our chocolates and drank beer and talked with my sexy voice the whole night LOLLL. Slept quite late :P

Day3: Seriously no voice. And late for bfast.
I can't even make a sound in the morning which was quite torturing to me T^T Drank a lot of hot tea before we took our last "tour" around Geopark hotel. We packed and checked out around noon, and proceeded to Rasa Eksotika which is near Chenang. This "hotel" was more like homestay... and they free upgrade our room! (They only have 6 rooms btw... hahaha but all the rooms are nice) The taukeh there is really nice and friendly too. And the place is just 5 minutes walk from the beach! :D We cincai ate some lunch cos we got this bbq dinner included in the Living Social package (and we really looked forward to it). Changed into beachwear and woooooo off we strode to Chenang beach :D Sunshine and water, ahhhhhhh~

Soaked myself in the water for so long hahhaa. Also accompanying sasa that cannot come up from the water due to some erhem problems. It rained for a while and we were forced to wait for the rain to stop under a shade, and the guys suddenly wanna play banana boat. In the end only 7 of them went and we just continued to soak in the water and enjoyed the waves. It's like paradise :D I am successfully tanned and i got line on my arms!!! Omg so happyyyyy :D Spent half a day at the beach and got really exhausted and we even play sand and bury laoren! Hahhahaha. We took kinda long time to clean up ourselves cos the sand just went into the shirt and pants automatically LOL! When stand up that time it really looks like we are shitting cos all the sand will "flow" down along your legs. Eeek. After that we chill in the room and watched movies on Astro cos dinner is 8.30pm. Watched a little bit of Alice in Wonderland, Lone Ranger and a comedy dunno what's the title haha (Police diary?).

Went to the dinner area and the taukeh is really good at setting up the place! He reserved 12 seats for us and the food are all ready for us to enjoy :D Okayyy i ate heaty stuff again. Curry crab, grilled fish, sotong, mussel and prawn :P Omg and the freelance person called during dinner! Aisehhh i'm enjoying my sweet time eating lei. Working life really is miserable, and some of my friends have to go back towork on Mon (including me haihs). Dinner was satisfying, and we went for a little walk along the streets (which honestly looked like Bukit Bintang or Bangkok at night). Went for bag shopping, chocolate shopping at Chenang mall (again hahaha). But actually we went there to borrow toilet. Mana tau per entry is RM1. Walao. So we went to the beach toilet which only costs 50cents. Langkawi is having their water festival on 9 and 10 May and too bad we only got to see the setting and rehearsal when we went there.

On the (long) way back to our rooms, the sky suddenly just poured out heavy rain. Omg we were soaked thoroughly. The guys just ran back into their rooms and we took shelter at 7-11 while waiting for the rain to turn smaller. In the end we still ran back but we got less soaked compared to the guys LOLL. Played cards again at our room, the mafia game. LOLLL our last night there we still play back same game. But it's fun laa :D Slept very late too hoho.

Day4: Last day, sick day.
Got up super late and we almost missed the bfast. Reason is because we lost our room key O_O We searched and ransacked the whole room but still cannot find it. Sad sia. After finding high and low for the key we just gave up and went for bfast. Was kinda worry that they might charge us very expensive for the key but luckily the lady only asked us to pay 5ringgit. Tq and sorry kind lady! We checked out, and decided to burn our remaining diesel (petrol). Went around the places that we never went: Eagle square!!! (Which was another landmark i painted on canvas 2 years ago hahaha. Ugly and horrible.) Eagle sq was really super and extremely hot and i feel like we can fry eggs on our heads liao. Took a lot of pics there and kept on queuing for our turn cos there are a lot of tourists there too. After that we went another mall (idk what name) and had our late lunch at Pappa rich. Sasa bought a 2 in 1 Levi jeans that i really loveee (and cheap also! RM49) but tak ada my size. Super sad. They have only up to size 28. Haihhs. Our last stop was the beach with black sand. Walked at the beach and drank beer. (Y) This is life man. Collecting seashells as well :)

Rushed to LIA and checked in only to found out that our flight has been delayed cos KL was raining heavily. We chatted nonsense at the airport and saw same group of people that we saw at Eagle sq! Hahhaha and we also spotted some people that looked like our friend. Lol! Said bye bye to lgkw around 9pm ish and boarded the plane. Our pilot was so funny cos he kept talking nonsense like "Oh, it's showtime~", "...if you cannot find your seat belt, it means you are sitting on it" and "...put on your life jacket and blow the whistle. Blow blow blow." LOLLL wth. A lot of people clapped after his announcement and he even replied us through the loud speaker: "Thanks for the clapping." LOLLL. He kept on repeating that we will land on KLIA2 and the airport is huge. Hahhaha which makes us really excited. The journey was a bit shaky cos it was raining. Scary hor... but thanks to our pilot that landed us all in one piece :D

He was right cos KLIA2 is really HUGE. It looks like a shopping mall to me as we walked down from the aerobridge into the "mall". They said it is a low cost airport but i feel that it is even grand and better than KLIA. We window shopped for a while cos we needa catch the train back to KL Sentral. Was kinda late that time... around midnight already, luckily little papa still not yet sleep and he came to pick me up. When i reached home and washed up it was already 2am. What a long day. Felt really sick cos i have no voice that my nose kept getting blocked T______T

Will let the photos do the talking, as usual. Langkawi is really a nice place to visit although it's small. Truly a perfect getaway! (Y) Lgkw ftw! :D
