our khidmat masyarakat [meaningful]
[i cant believe that i actually forgot to post this meaningful-event-in-my-life until...today. so here is it. i'm feeling kinda down while typing these, so just ignore my down-ness (if there's such a word)]
went to the stepping stones orphanage last saturday.
at first i dont feel like going, because it's saturday (what am i typing??)
then finally i went because i dont feel like reading biology or math.
first we went shopping at mid valley.
bought lots of stuff: food, stationary, shampoo etc.
for the orphans of course.
we're very kind-hearted and caring de x)
*okay i admit that i did bought one packet of tiger biskuat for myself xP one packet ONLY*
then we proceed to the shelter. by foot.
credits to ah van for the photos:
then after walking under the hot hot sun for quite a distance,
we became really tired + sweaty so we rest under the nice BLUE! perhentian teksi.
then after having a free mcdonald ice cream (tq tzer yong) and blablabla,
went to the stepping stones orphanage last saturday.

that is when zee how suggest to phone the shelter to inform them that we're coming soon.
which is around 1.30pm.
and the pastor said that the kids are all out. OUT.
oh good.
so the seven of us WALK back to mid valley because we need air-cond desperately.
then after having a free mcdonald ice cream (tq tzer yong) and blablabla,
we began to walk there again at about 3.30pm.
when we almost reached there,
the kids were back from hang-gai-ing also.
really ngam ngam hou (just like what lee heng wrote)
then we saw doggies at the entrance.
really cute ones, and i like the fluffy-tailed one the most.
[no picture, use your imagination. by the way, it's brown xD]
we started by distributing pens and sweets to the kids:
as you can see, they were mostly indians.
cute little ones, like my dear indian friend kasture and my chin-dian (chinese-indian) neighbour =)
then lee heng started to say something (forgot what she said already xP) to interact with the kids.
later on we played some games with them. some real lame games x)
and they each get a little present if they can answer our questions =)
me as the present-giver xD
the kids also sang some very nice church songs for us.
they are christians you know =)
then i found a girl sitting at the corner, like very lonely/ isolated xP
so paperfish took some photos of me with her:
take 1
take 2 [pose pose xP]
at last,
our group photo:
i was holding the wet wet tissue paper! lols.
because that time i was sweating so "seriously" x)
and if you observe the picture carefully,
you'll find that most of the boys wear the same shirt
haha. i kinda mistaken them as twins. or triplets? quadruplets? or...how to say 五胞胎 in english? xP
they're really cool. really they are =)
hope that they live happily everyday.
god bless them =)
